Mum found my quail
And the amazing thing is
It's alive
Missing half its feathers and a bit of blood and looking mangled and in shock
But alive
Which is a considerable improvement on its last status assesment, which was dead
Or at least "missing presumed dead"
Beautiful quail!
Yay!
Happy now!
As happy as a transgenic sheep-human hybrid in a green field watching the Umbilical Brothers on Youtube.
